Privacy Policy

Life Receipt is operated by A&B Network (anb-network.com), a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea, as part of the evoa.one project. Privacy contact: contact+life-receipt@evoa.one (only the operator can read this mailbox; we delete correspondence once it is handled).

Summary

You can make receipts without an account. Then your receipts and settings stay in your browser and are not sent to us. If you sign in with Google, we hold your sign-in account only; your receipts still stay in your browser.

Without an account

The details you type for a receipt (the kind of receipt, names, dates, places, memory lines, stats, message and chosen theme), up to 12 recent receipts, and your theme choice are stored only in your browser's local storage (keys starting "life-receipt:v1:"). Nothing is sent to us. The receipt image (PNG) is drawn in your browser and saved or shared by you; we do not receive it. Life Receipt sets no cookies itself. Clearing your browser data deletes all of it.

If you sign in with Google (optional)

Google sign-in uses Firebase Authentication (Google LLC). Google provides your account identifier (uid), display name, profile photo address and email address to Firebase. Firebase Authentication keeps your name and email address and keeps your sign-in session in your browser. After you sign in, the account menu shows your Google name, email address and photo; your browser loads the photo from Google. We do not copy your name, email address or photo into our database.

In this version signing in does not send your receipts to us; they stay in your browser. We use Cloud Firestore (Google LLC) only to look up your plan (free or paid) under your account identifier, and we store nothing else about you in it. If we add syncing, we will update this policy and announce it before it starts.

Purpose: to let you sign in and to show your plan. Basis: you chose to sign in.

Payments

Life Receipt takes no payments today. A paid plan is shown as "coming soon" but is not available. Before we accept any payment we will update this policy and the Terms.

Fonts and other resources

Fonts are bundled with the site; we use no third-party fonts. The only third-party resources the site loads are Cloudflare (visit statistics, below) and, if you sign in, Google (sign-in, your profile photo and the plan lookup in Cloud Firestore).

Site statistics and server logs

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for basic visit statistics. Cloudflare explains that it sets no cookie and uses no browser storage for this; it records page-load timing, country (derived from the IP address), host, page path, referrer, device type, browser and operating system, and does not log query strings. Cloudflare keeps the data for the previous six months. Cloudflare, Inc. processes it; see https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/

The site is served by Firebase Hosting and Google Cloud (Cloud Run) in the United States (us-central1), which log request data such as IP address, time, requested URL and user agent. We keep these logs for 30 days. They may contain your account identifier if you are signed in.

How long we keep it

  • Browser data: until you clear it.
  • Your Firebase Authentication account: until you delete it or ask us to delete it. We destroy information without delay once its purpose is achieved, in a way that cannot be recovered.
  • Server request logs: 30 days.
  • Cloudflare statistics: six months (Cloudflare's period).
  • Emails to us: deleted once handled.

Deleting your data and your other rights

There is no delete button yet. To delete your account and everything stored on our servers, email contact+life-receipt@evoa.one from the email address of your Google account (that is how we verify you). We handle the request within 10 days of receiving it and tell you the result. Deletion covers your Firebase Authentication account and happens at once; we keep no separate backups of this data. Server logs that may contain your account identifier expire on their own after 30 days. Data in your browser is yours to clear.

You may also ask to see, correct, or stop the processing of your personal data, or withdraw your consent, at the same address. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you may have further rights, including to complain to your data protection authority. In Korea, remedies are available through: Personal Information Infringement Report Center 118; Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee 1833-6972; Supreme Prosecutors' Office 1301; National Police Agency cybercrime reporting 182.

Processors and overseas transfer

We do not sell your personal information. Where data goes outside Korea:

  • Google LLC (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Hosting, Google Cloud). Items: account identifier, display name, profile photo address, email address (held by Firebase Authentication), plan lookup, server request logs (IP address). Country and place: United States (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Run in us-central1; Authentication is a global Google service). When and how: sent over the network when you sign in and when you load Life Receipt while signed in. Purpose: sign-in and running the site. Retention: as under "How long we keep it". Contact: Google LLC, https://policies.google.com/privacy
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (visit statistics). Items: as listed under "Site statistics and server logs". Country: United States and other Cloudflare locations. When and how: sent from your browser when a page loads. Purpose: basic visit statistics. Retention: six months. https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/

If you do not want your data transferred overseas, do not sign in (making and exporting receipts works without it) and email us to delete anything already stored. The effect: no account.

Children

Signing in is for people aged 14 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 14 (or under the higher age that applies where you live). We do not run our own age check and rely on Google's account rules. If we learn we hold such data, we delete it without delay. Using Life Receipt without an account does not send us your receipts.

Changes

We update this page and its date when our practices change. If we add a feature that collects new information, we will update this policy and announce it before the feature starts. See also the Terms of Service.
